re: Danielle... That can probably be explained away by her being off her rocker.
re: Claire... Her story will be fully told in Season 6, I think.
re: Hair... I think there is a scene in Season 1 in which (I think) Kate is shown giving Sawyer a trim. Amazingly, his hair looked exactly the same before and after. So actually I think it's the Island. It made Locke walk again, after all. Keeping everyone's hair fashionably coiffed would be a cinch after that. Which I suppose makes the Island gay.

By the way, you might want to start recording the hour before each current episode as well. What they do is show the previous week's episode with pop-up commentary. Some of the explanations are quite helpful.

The thing I found most unbelievable was that Sun did not tell Jin that he needed to live so that he could raise their daughter.  She's a mother.  She wouldn't have all of a sudden forgotten that she had a daughter.

Why was Aaron just born in this sideways universe? I thought he was already 3 or something. Why the hell was there a polar bear in the first season? Did we ever find out what those stupid numbers actually were? Was there really anything to protect the island from? So what if the man in black left... >.<

I think the point of LOST is there is no point and you have to find your own meaning... It's better than thinking the writers got lazy and confused then forgot about certain parts resulting in plot holes (although that is, in fact, what happened. Ben was only supposed to be in three episodes, but they decided they were gonna add a part for him and make up more shit as they go along).

If Jacob was calling the shots with the others, why didn't they kidnap any of the candidates?  Why did they instead lock them up in cages?

If the man in black could only turn into dead people, was Walt really just picking spots on the island to stand creepily and be seen by Shannon?
