Ok, just joined. Not too sure how I found this place and I'm definitely no geek.

However, I'm practising so figuring this might be a good place to start.

Of course, it could be there's nothing 'geeky' (in my understanding of the word) about any of this, in which case, I'm probably just making an arse of myself.  whistling

Ah well off to have a nosey about.

Hello. I don't think I'm a geek, either. Just like I wasn't a hacker.

xolik: WHERE IS OBAMA'S GIFT CERTIFICATE?
Demosthenes: Is that from the gifters movement?

Detta: Crappy old shorts and a tank top.  This is how I dress for work. Because my job is to get puked on.
Demosthenes: So is mine.  I work in IT.

Ditto. Nor a network, or an org.

Does this mean I'll end up being a hacker? Or a network? Or an org?

Somehow that sounds altogether too techie for my brain so I'll assume I'm safe. tongue

You don't have to be geeky.  But funny helps.

Like this!!

Today in Geometry, I was teaching the ways to prove two triangle are congruent.  Of course, you have to mention how Angle-Side-Side (ASS) doesn't work.  The kids who have taken the class before know the joke already...NO ASS IN THIS CLASS!!!!  Well, since they took my line, I said, "well, that's debatable".

The class is so full of asses, that I don't think anyone even heard me!  Except for the co-teacher.  She laughed in agreement.
