Ok my teacher asked me this question a while ago, but I never got the answer.
Imagine you have two large rooms separated by a two-way-mirror (also one-way-mirror). You look through the mirror to the other room, but there's a huge mirror there and you can't see it's borders. So basically you see the mirror reflecting the two-way-mirror. If you don't take into account the walls or floor or ceiling, what do you see? So let's just pretend you only see the mirror reflecting the two-way-mirror. I really can't explain it like it should be, but hopefully you understand what I mean.

Assuming that you could get the two mirrors to be perfect and perfectly parallel, I suspect that you would just see silver.

That could be possible. It would be fun to somehow test this. My friend actually said you could see green. He said glass always captures some of the light and glass is green. Don't know how solid that theory is.

If there is no light source in the second room:
If the two-way mirror is perfectly efficient in blocking light in your room from passing into the other room, you would see darkness.
If the two-way mirror is not perfectly efficient, you would see yourself.
Now, if there is a light source in the second room:
If the one-way mirror is some distance from the two-way mirror, you would see some part of the room and some part of the two-way mirror reflected recursively.
The only way for you not to see any part of the room reflected is if the one-way mirror was right up against the two-way mirror, in which case you would again see darkness.

This thread is a perfect example of somebody who comes by, registers, asks a question then splits. GET IT? SPLITS? Because the OPs user name is Banana and he left abruptly, or "split" to put it in slang, so I made a clever play of words using the OPs screen name and the slang in reference to a popular ice cream treat. Gawd, you plebs, it's not funny if I have to explain everything to you all the time. I swear you just don't appreciate my sophisticated sense of humor.

Oh not yet. He's been nice so far and even went and made an intro post when I asked him to and to top it all off, there was no backtalk about it either!

I used to love watching the Banana Splits. Danger Island was awesome. Too bad they could never get away with a show like that now.
