Back in the day, there were no computers in peoples' homes.
Anybody remember listening to TAPES?

Slowly, but surely, I steadily grew my "setup"...
This was my inner sanctum circa 1993

And one day, we shall all reach the Promised Land:
This is my current setup in my basement.

There are four computers at the desk; even though only two monitors and the big Plasma.
One is strictly for recording, one is my funbox, one is my "work" comp, and the other is a regular comp that functions as a backup and "server"; although it is NOT an actual server.

Nice setup, 12.

Here we have the 'ol VAIO, the actual work computer / phone. And in the top left you might be able to see one of the things I work on all day long here.

As for my personal space, just imagine the laptop on a bar and you've got it.
