So, I have been toying with the idea of writting a script for quite some time. I have a few ideas in my head and I think I'd like to give this a shot when I have a bit more free time (i.e. - later or never! lol). I have done a bit of research and came across some interesting information I'd like to share.
1 - A script has a very precise and technical format. Screw that up and no one will give a serious look at your script, regardless of content. You can learn about the format here: http://www.screenwriting.info/
2 - The good news is that there are a handful of quality software you can buy that will handle the formating for you. Uppon researching software, I found this very interestign website which allows you to write and store your script online, collaborate on a script with other writers, and control who has access to view your work. And it's FREE! I thought this was a fantastic option for collaboration and I knew there's a few geeks here who love to write. So perhaps it's something you can look into. I only tried the demo quickly, but it looks simple and straighforward. http://www.plotbot.com/
