Hello, I am a substitute teacher in Washington State. I did my student teaching in a 7th Grade Science class. I am currently trying to get into a Doctorate program to pursue an EdD in Teacher Leadership. I love superheroes. My favourite movie is "Kick-Ass." I am not sure what else to say about myself. I have a Pinterest account - that might help if you want to know more about me: http://pinterest.com/shparks79/- Shawn

It's not like weight issues are the only self inflicted health problems in the world. What about people smoking and drinking themselves to death?

Cool, I've discovered new board games and a new website about board games in one post.
I already knew about that web site, but I had never heard of that game before. If you play it, you should post a review here.

Cheap knock off of this game
I've never heard of that game before. Have you played it? If so, is it any good?

You may be thinking of Eleventh Hour, which has much in common with Fringe. Yeah, that's it. That show looks like it might be good.

This is a show about mad science, but I'm disappointed thus far. Science makes up the bulk of "mad science," and Fringe is skimping over the fun parts to facilitate the angst of its overly-emotional lead actress.
I heard there was some other show coming out about "mad science" too. Maybe it will be better. I can't remember what it is called though. Has anyone heard of another show like Fringe coming out?

Any fans / critics of that show?

i, too, am this way. it probably doesn't help that i tend to start reading three or four books at a time, either.
Yeah, I know what you mean. I always have between 10 and 20 books checked out from the library at any given time. The problem is that there are too many books I want to read and not enough time to read them all. I wish books were shorter.

Do my physics homework for me? K thanks. Just kidding, welcome! =] And yeah, I think teaching at your old school would be pretty cool actually. With the chance of working with some of your old teachers maybe who are old now, kind of weird but eh lol
I looked on the web site and found out that two of my old teachers still work at the middle school. Neither of them are favorites of mine or anything. Not that I specifically disliked them. Actually, I don't remember much about them.

So, what do you guys think of the addition of the T-1000?
I thought that guy in the power plant was the T-1000, but I guess he wasn't. What was he?

My name is Shawn. I am a graduate student, working on my Masters in Teaching. I am hoping to do my student teaching in a middle school science class, at the school I went to as a kid. That would be pretty cool, I think. With any luck, I will be able to change the world for the better as a professional educator.

Let's see if I can remember. I am pretty sure I read these this year:
Genius Denied (about working with gifted children) Dean Koontz's Frankenstein - Books One and Two Save the Cat (how to write a screenplay) Duma Key (Stephen King novel) Refuse to Choose (a sort of self-help book) The Husband (Dean Koontz Novel) The first two Kathy Reichs mysteries (the lady that the show "Bones" is based on).
Of course, there are numerous graphic novels and a few comic books (like Garfield and such).
There are many books I have started reading, but have not yet completed. I am really bad about not finishing the books I start reading. I have quite a few that I "will finish someday."
