Whoops, I forgot to include my goal for the year.  I'm going to go with 100, which should be achievable.

I feel like such a slow reader compared to you guys.

Can we have a Chapter thread wherein we who write can record how many chapters we write in a year?

To be fair, I'm working my way through a bunch of Piers Anthony at the moment; that's pretty light reading.  I can blow through one of those in a day or two most of the time.  I also read pretty fast.

I only get 45-50 minutes max a day to read (weekdays only) and I only read about 30 pages an hour.    If I were single and childless I could probably plow through a lot more.

I don't ever actually sit and read.  I listen to audiobooks in the car, while at the gym, or while cleaning.

Yeah, not gonna lie.  I'm a pretty fast reader too.  If it's a book I'm into I usually knock it out in a couple days if I don't have other things going on.  The Percy Jackson ones were like that.  I really liked them and they were a pretty fast read anyway...I think I went through each of them in an average of a day and a half or so.
