Any chess enthusiasts?  I learned to play a few days ago and now I can't get enough of it.  I'm going to join my local library's chess club next Saturday so I can improve my game.

I used to play a lot when I was a kid.  I played four way chess (Chess a Lot, I think was the name of it) when I was an ATC.  But I've probably only played a couple times in the past dozen years or so.

A buddy of mine while I was in high school was a ranked Federation Master.

We used to play daily.  Out of the hundreds of times I played him, I probably only beat him six or maybe seven times.  He was really good.

I'm no slouch, myself... but I'm not good enough to be winning any tourneys.  Not unless they're against grade school kids.  :P

Yeah well...  I suck at it.  I guess I shouldn't say that.  I'm not that great.  A high school budy used to be ranked, not sure what, but he's beaten a master before.  He beat me pretty regularly.  Maybe I'll take it up one of these days and learn the manuvers.

As for chess...I'm not a very good geek.  I don't play it.  I'm pretty sure I won't be good at it, seeing as how I'm retarded and such.  I really should make an effort though.
