She has the pregnancy dainbramage right now and if I asked her to do something she'd do something else.  I don't quite have the algorithm figured out yet either.  It could be as easy as asking her to go to the store to buy some leechee nuts, or it could be as convoluted as the Congressional record.

Too much work when IE works fine from work.

Internet Explorer doesn't "work" "fine" from anywhere.  Besides, it leaves a browsing history behind on your hard drive that someone like me that provides IT for your company can easily extract, dump into a spreadsheet, and send to your boss when he/she asks what you've been doing on that computer.

Running PortableFirefox on a USB drive eliminates that entire issue because it stores literally nothing on the hard drive of whatever computer on which you are running it.

Good point, perhaps I should overcome my laziness and do that.

How big of a drive do I need?

I run mine on a 512mb SanDisk USB drive, but it should work on just about anything.  I doubt you could find a USB drive with less than 128mb of space on it, and even 128mb should be plentiful as long as you keep your cache settings to a reasonably smallish level.

A quick Google search of the subject just yielded this result pretty close to the top.  $9.99 is a good price in my opinion.

Well since you two revived this old thing I'll add something.

I got a laptop from work to use on this site.  Taking Demo's advice I'm trying out the PortableFireFox.  It seems to work fine.  I have it set to zero cache, but the connection here is over 3 megs, and doesn't seem to have any problems.  Best part is I just pasted my bookmarks on my home PC into the little program and voila, everything is like sitting there.

How much cache would you suggest to use Demo?

BTW it is only taking 18 MB's of space using it like this.

Oh and without me having to look can you incorporate the hosts.sam file into this thing?

Not sure... I haven't tried and I'm not sure how you'd do it.
