Text Twist.  I shit you not.

All non-kidding aside, as a non-gamer I can't say I know much on the topic.  However, my understanding as a Mac user is that if you go through the boot camp shenanigans and load windows that's where the gaming comes in as there aren't many made for Mac.

That or ports, most popular PC titles will see a Mac release once someone can be arsed to transcode them.

From what I hear quallity and stability are hit and miss though.

No actual title suggestions though, sorry.  I've owned a Mac for about 48 hours, haven't got around to looking into it.  Offline, my Uncle (Big Mac enthusiast (Haha, not the burger =P)) raved about the X2 port, if you're into space trader sims, I'd check that out.  I'm not sure if X3 has seen a Mac release.

Get a Mac MAME emulator and you'll be set for a good long time.

Scarab of Ra.  That's good stuff.  It's not online though.

Also not online but good for the Mac is anything by Spiderweb Software.

I'm pretty sure it's something to do with arcade machines, or the Kaballah. Google is your friend.

Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. Let's you play arcade game roms on your PC. Of course you'll either have to legally own the arcade game in question or delete the rom after a 24 hour evaluation period. I would never endorse illegal activity.

Xolik, you know that comment only holds true depending in which U.S. state you're currently residing.

No experience with Arcade emulators, but if it's anything like console emulators, you'll need an (Illegal to own) BIOS file for it.  Google might be able to help you research this, but I can't advocate downloading said files.

A lot of the newer games can require up to 1gb or more space to run right and a special BIOS. I know Carnevil did. I used to play that game on my class break in college last year.
