Post all the ones you can think of that you've read this year.  Each time you add one that you're reading, quote your list.

I like it so far.

I joined the faculty book club, where the students pick the books that we read.  So this is the first one, of course.  But I've been having students tell me to read this book for quite a while.

Let's see if I can remember.  I am pretty sure I read these this year:

Genius Denied (about working with gifted children)
Dean Koontz's Frankenstein - Books One and Two
Save the Cat (how to write a screenplay)
Duma Key (Stephen King novel)
Refuse to Choose (a sort of self-help book)
The Husband (Dean Koontz Novel)
The first two Kathy Reichs mysteries (the lady that the show "Bones" is based on).

Of course, there are numerous graphic novels and a few comic books (like Garfield and such).

There are many books I have started reading, but have not yet completed.  I am really bad about not finishing the books I start reading.  I have quite a few that I "will finish someday."

i, too, am this way. it probably doesn't help that i tend to start reading three or four books at a time, either.

Yeah, I know what you mean.  I always have between 10 and 20 books checked out from the library at any given time.  The problem is that there are too many books I want to read and not enough time to read them all.  I wish books were shorter.

Oh man... I read an average of a book a week so I can't even remember everything I've read the whole year.

Currently reading and about to finish: The Silicon Mage by Barbara Hambly

In the past couple of weeks I've read:

By John Scalzi:
Old Man's War
The Ghost Brigades
The Last Colony

Earlier in the year I've read:

The Android's Dream (also by Scalzi)

By John Ringo:
Against the Tide
East of the Sun and West of the Moon

Choosers of the Slain
Unto the Breach
A Deeper Blue

Into the Looking Glass

Co-written with David Weber:
March Upcountry
March to the Sea
March to the Stars
We Few

The Road to Damascus (a Bolo book with Linda Evans)
Von Neumann's War (with Travis S. Taylor)
Princess of Wands
Old Yellow Eyes (W/ Tom Kratman)

By Robin Hobb:
Shaman's Crossing
Forest Mage

By Spider Robinson/Robert Heinlein:
Variable Star

By Wil Wheaton:
Dancing Barefoot
Just a Geek
The Happiest Days of our Lives

By David Weber:
At All Costs
The Shadow of Saganami
In Fury Born

By Alan Dean Foster:
Trouble Magnet
Patrimony

The Candle of Distant Earth

Transformers
Transformers: Ghosts of Yesterday

By Glen Cook:
Lord of the Silent Kingdom

By David Drake:
The Dance of Time
The Mirror of Worlds

I'm pretty sure all those were this year. And I'm sure that's not all of them either.  There's a Conan novel or two that I can't recall the title(s) of too.
