Whilst searching for geek related forums, I found this one!

I am from Kent in England.

Some of my geek credentials...

All things geeky!
Al things Goth!
All things Steampunk!

Tabletop roleplaying games, especially Doctor Who - Adventures in Time and Space (Cubicle 7), Victoriana 2nd edition (Cubicle 7), GURPS 4th edition (Steve Jackson Games), and Serenity (Margaret Weis Productions)
Re-enactment, Ren Faires, LARP / LARPing, Cosplay, etc
Collecting (replica historical coins, Doctor Who inspired LARP props, Iron Pyrites, world war 2 allied forces banknotes, fake/counterfeit English Pound coins, amongst other crap!)
The Goth and Steampunk subcultures
Music; especially Carl McCoy/Fields of the Nephilim/The Nefilim, Katie Melua, The Eden House, Last Rites, Pink Floyd, Midnight Oil, AC/DC, amongst others.
Reading; mainly non-fiction, but some fiction as well
Drawing
Voluntary work (I volunteer for a nature conservation charity)
Visiting museums and art galleries (my favourite being the Science Museum in London)
Listening to radio talk shows, especially James Stannage, Nick Abbot, Clive Bull, Steve Allen, James Whale, Nick Ferarri, Ed Shultz, etc
Going to music gigs (please see below)

Musicians / bands that I have seen live include The Levellers (1994), Pink Floyd (1994), Ivor Biggun (1995), Carl McCoy aka Fields of the Nephilim (2007 and 2008), Katie Melua (2008 and 2011), AC/DC (2009), Last Rites (2009), NFD (2009), and The Eden House (2009).

Well, it might be a while.  Six minus eight weeks... that's potentially a long, long time...

Howdy.  You need to get to more shows.  I'll be seeing six different bands tomorrow night.
