Happy New Year!
« on: January 01, 2010, 12:34:46 PM »

A happy new year to all of you!
I myself had a beautiful meal followed bij some WII play. Decent lighting of some firework and then topped it of with emptying some champagne bottles.

What did you lot do?

I went to sleep until Enrique woke me up at 11:45.  We counted down, had a small glass of champagne, fed the baby and went back to bed.

Here's to a happy, healthy 2010 filled with fun and laughter.

Made a nice meal for me and the missus, drank some good wine with the meal, watched a movie and finished a bottle of local sparkling wine as midnight hit.

Hope everyone here as a good 2010!

I had to work. There were three fights and the cops were called twice. Then I cleaned up and went home, toasted the new year in private and fell asleep. Yesterday, I got up and watched the parade then fell back to sleep. It was awesome.

Was in San Diego at a club that had to have been way over crowded listening to a drunk friend of Paka's bitch about how much he doesn't like Mexicans (You're going to start that shit in San Diego of all places?) then proceeds to go home with three Mexican guys he picked up.

Other than that cute little display of hypocrisy, it was a very nice night.

We went to see Louie Anderson at the Paramount theatre in St. Cloud, which was pretty cool.

Then we went home and went to bed.  Exciting, I know!

I had a party with about ten friends. It was good fun and no pressure. I smoked to many cigarettes.

We started off with the traditional backwards dinner.  This year it was at Kabul in San Carlos.  I started with the baklava, followed by the combo kebab plate (lamb and chicken), then salad, then we had four different appetizers.  Oh and we had the Afghani cardamom tea.  We then went to a friend's birthday party and finished at another friend's NYE party.  Ian spent the day and night with his grandparents so it was nice to be child free.

You are on the edge of trendy, PB. The popular kids on NPR were saying just the other day that cardamom tea is going to the be the pomegranate juice of 2010.
