This seems like a good place to put all the ways my daughter is a good little nerd. She's 2 1/2. Feel free to join in if you have nerd kids!
Today, she was playing with some triangle shapes and I said "What happens when you put two equilateral triangles together?". She said "Da da rhombus!"
So proud.

She can also identify pi!

My son has been experimenting with buoyancy and size recently.
Yes we've pulled the toilet, twice in three days to remove objects that weren't quite buoyant enough and a little to girthy to make it through the S-curve.

Oh NOES!!

We really should buy wax rings by the case. Unfortunately we only have one bathroom so it becomes urgent whenever he does this.
He's done it at least 15-20 times over the past three years. Toy cars, dinosaurs, bars of soap, bathtub stopper, yoga band, a fan remote control.

My daughter has blowing bubbles down pat, is pretty good at sticking her tongue out as a greeting and is on the verge of understanding why you would even want to roll all the way over (rolling onto her side is not a problem for sleeping comfort).

Aubrey (turned 4 on May 14) likes to search through my phone and download apps she thinks look like fun (I do let her play on it occasionally and she usually plays a princess memory game or angy birds). She also asks when we can go to the 'App Store', as she wants to get the Disney Junior games she sees on TV.

Dead thread retread. I don't know if I ever congratulated Min...
Congratulations! It is a pleasure to hear of another genius entering this world of ours.

My little STDs are smart and awesome! My four-year-old daughter loves to sing, and my eight-year-old son is a damn savant with his iPad.

Thanks FN. She also knows what a trapezoid is. I think I only showed her once.
