Hey... Guess which DVD box set I just got?
All the original Planet of the Apes movies.
THAT'S RIGHT!
IT'S A MADHOUSE! A MADHOUSE!
I also got the Young Ones and Full Bottom.
It's gonna be a busy weekend!!!!
-
Already have The Young Ones. Plus I have Fawlty Towers. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to watch any of them yet. I am planning on watching the Ren and Stimpy with Ian though. I bet he'll really like the Happy Happy Joy Joy song.
-
Bet he will!
Say, ever see Full Bottom? I've only read about it a little. It's Rik and Ade's series right after the Young Ones. Some people say it's even funnier.
Can't wait... Tonight, Reuben Sandwiches made with corn beef P cooked up yesterday, Guiness and Full Bottom.
HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY!
-
Nope, never heard of it.
-
One of these days I'm going to ping ivan on Gmail talk.
-
You guys have never seen Bottom? Brilliant series. I've still never gotten around to seeing the recent movie "Guesthouse Paradiso" though. Look out for that too, I've heard good things.

I'll get those next. This weekend I went and bought Season 3 of Penn and Teller: Bullshit! and the Trailer Park Boys movie. Both kicked ass, and I laughed my ass off at Bullshit!, they've definitely made a fan of me.

For some reason, I really don't like you.
-
You have a point to that, Stitch, or just letting it be known?
-
For some reason, I really don't like you.
You can't hate agent.
P.s. What are your feelings on me?
-
Hate Star Wars
-
Hate Star Wars
Some people hate Jews. Both prejudices are equally inane.
-
Some people hate Jews. Both prejudices are equally inane.
I think hatred of jews may in fact be more justified, which makes pb worse than a nazi.
-
I'm worse than a Nazi at polishing boots anyway.
-
Some people hate Jews. Both prejudices are equally inane.
Hatred of Jews or any other group of people is prejudice (and as such inane) because it ascribes characteristics to individuals on the basis of their group affiliation. However, there is only the one Star Wars. If you know and hate Star Wars, you are judging, not prejudging. There is no other Star Wars besides the one you know that can be prejudged based on your knowledge of the original Star Wars.
So Star Wars can be hated completely un-inanely.
-
This is assuming I have seen Star Wars.
Which I actually have.
-
What did you think of it?
-
Hate.
-
Please specify object of hatred.
-
I think hatred of jews may in fact be more justified, which makes pb worse than a nazi.
Just so I'm clear...hatred of jews is more justifiable than hatred of a movie...
and you wonder why you get slapped around in here...
-
...and ignored.
-
What did you think of it?
Not really my cup of tea. TOS is much better.
-
Yes. Not as stupid.

Nuh uh, there are six of them.

That was a joke.

That was a joke.
It wasn't funny.

A priest, a rabbi and a minister decide to see who's best at his job. So they each go into the woods, find a bear and attempt to convert it. Later they get together.
The priest begins. "When I found the bear, I read to him from the Catechism and sprinkled him with holy water. Next week is his First Communion."
"I found a bear by the stream," says the minister, "and preached God's holy word. The bear was so mesmerised that he let me baptise him."
They both look down at the rabbi, who is wrapped in a body cast.
"Looking back," he says, "maybe I shouldn't have started with the circumcision."
– Rabbi Sandford Kopnick
Now THAT'S a good joke about Jews (except of course they aren't evangelistic as far as I know, so it doesn't totally work)!
-
It wasn't funny.
I think we need a poll before we can determine whether it was really funny or not.
-
A Theif, a Jew and a Homosexual die in a train wreck. They found themselves at the gates of heaven and are greeted by an angel. They beg to be sent back to earth as they feel their death was too sudden and they didn't get to enjoy life as much as they could have. The Angel leaves to consult with God and returns to them later saying "Your request has been granted, but you must no longer live in Sin. One mistake and you're back here for good, or worse..." as he points a finger downwards.
The three men find themselves back on earth on a busy street. It takes very little time for the theif to face temptation as a women wearing the most amazying necklace walks by. He sneaks up behind her and prepares to snatch the neckless. As he does *Poof* he vanishes from the face of the earth.
The Jew and the gay guy discuss what they have just witness when all of a sudden the Jewish man spots a coin on the street and withouth thinking bends over to pick it up. *Poof* Both men vanished.
-
Hahahahah that's great!

Or a trial.

You're so observant.
I'm actually home sick today. Real sick. Oh woah is me. I have to find some way to make myself feel better emotionally since I feel so crappy physically.

Did it work?
-
Yeah, a little. The soda is helping too.
-
Aww. I hope you feel better soon. Reread, the Soupbandit trial thread, it should bring up your spirits.
-
Brad needs a shave.

Substitute teacher time!
-
Sub time ended about 3 1/2 hours ago. First period will have their test on Monday. They won't try to understand the material this weekend in hopes that I'll be out again on Monday. I don't think I will. They'll be disappointed.
-
Crushing dreams reminiscent of the work of JoeSixpack
-
Those poor children.
-
What's so poor about them? They've known about this test all week.
-

You got them all excited by thinking the test would be put off, and now your going back to school and crushing their dreams. :-(
-
They shouldn't assume that I'll be out on Monday just because I was out on Friday. I feel no sympathy for them.

This is an algebra class, logic doesn't apply here.

I think you missed the inherent sarcasm, hence the winking face.

lol.. "WinKing". That's after Vista.

Evonus, you are not a logical thinker. You just are not. Face up to it. Own it.
Either that, or you don't know what "hence" means, which would reflect poorly on you, as well.
We need another trial.
-
Fuck logic, I'm late for church.
-
On Monday?
Actually, that's not a bad idea.

I'm REALLY late.

Or REALLY early for next week?

I thought it was some obscure sect with an 8-day Creation model.
-
8 days. What a lame God. Mine did it in the blink of a noodly appendage.
-
Mine's supposedly still workin' on it...
-
Mine's got a demolition squad on the way.

Everyone I have ever met that is not on this forum in real life or other forums alike says the exact opposite. With the weight of popular opinion behind me I'm going to say you're wrong.
Either that, or you don't know what "hence" means, which would reflect poorly on you, as well.
I do know what it means, I have for a long time, and it's part of my normal vocab. Do I need to get a dictionary on your ass?
We need another trial.
I am not a crook! 8-)
