Careful.  Ivan swings a mighty big stick here, and you do not.

Lol yeah, I know. Piss off a moderator and ur screwed, but I've said what I said so I'm just gonna have to sit back and watch. But honestly, if he can't take what he dishes out then oh well I guess what happens happens. I've tried a few approaches at getting to know you guys here all of which either died quickly or were abused, not that I'm surmised lol. I'm not exactly a wizard at communication if it hasn't been obvious (lol). But I really would like to get to know you guys.

If you have to ask, you can't afford it.

Lol ok Ivan the illiterate, the post was not about price but about reliability. The OCZ fatality is supposed to be 80+% efficient with power usage but also supposed to reliably provide the 750w peak when needed. I have yet to find a review and was wondering if anyone had tried it out or knew something about its track record.

5
Hey all, so the a-power psu is no longer available, does anyone have any experience with the OCZ Fatality psu? And should I be ok with a 750w psu with the above setup?

Failure is not an option--it comes bundled with Windows.

I have yet to run into a pc that I had problems with installing or running Linux on, I've gotten it working on an IBM Thinkpad from 98 to an acer aspire from 2k7 so I don't foresee issues with getting it up and running.

Proof that evolution exists: http://www.facebook.com/?sk=messages&tid=10150090812243685

Wait, my Facebook wall is proof that evolution exists?

A prejudicial cop?  Come on, really?

^ what he said, and its not just the way the person looks its also the car they drive, the house they live in the shoes they wear and so on. If on cop had a bad experience with a 5' 10" male with a stuffy beard driving a white import then I'm getting the hell for that other guy's mistakes. It also goes for last names......my brother and my dad both have history with the local police, and now I get pulled over and blamed for and illegal driving habit that the cop was guilty of!!! Go figure....

I'm sorry, but as a mistake I don't see the analogy. You make a mistake, you support it for 18 years, you kick it out. If you make more than one mistake, you should learn programming.

Ah, but what if it is child support payments? If you get behind you could conceivably wind up paying it off for the rest of your life lol. I have another,

"Intelligence is the ability to avoid doing work, yet getting the work done." - Linus Torvalds

Post random geek quotes here, ill start...

Programming is like sex: make one mistake and you'll have to support it for the rest of your life.

Dammit, why'd you have to give it away?  It was more fun when he didn't get it.
Lol, I know right? I think my brain is a bit slow lately, I'm forgetting everything lately...

Oh shoot, did I forget the multimedia phones? I guess those with such phones would like to be privileged with a category of your own........well........I might be able to do that......

My phone still has a dial.

I'M NOT KIDDING YOU I HAVE ONE OF THOSE AND I STILL USE IT!!

But not all the time.

I've always wanted one of those!!!! I'd probably never use it, but I always thought they were really cool.

If by "no frills phone" you mean "not a phone that requires a data plan", then that's what I have.
Yup that would be it. :)

EDIT: Wait, I just realized you were talking about the LiveCD.

It doesn't touch the hard drive.  It loads everything into system memory when you boot from the CD.  It means it's slow to boot, and sluggish to load apps when you launch them, but it's a great way to test it out and make sure all your hardware is recognized/working before you actually take the plunge and install it.

Yup, then once you do install it runs much faster than it did during live. I've had mandriva run just as fast as Windows during live, and I fully believe it would run much faster when installed but it was not my computer to install it on.........darn my wife and her attachment to windows......

24
If you want a dual-boot system (dont know why you would) you would leave windows on the HDD and create a separate partition for Linux.
