Hey folks,

For those few of you that care. Server has been moved to the new apartment, but I'm in the middle of trying to update/upgrade some components so it's down for today. (Well, technically it's up, but it has a new IP which I forgot to make note of at 2am last night.  :slap)

On the plus side, the wiring in the new place is awesomesauce and there should be far fewer issues related to that.

Hey hey hey... The IRC server is back up and running!

Took extra long due to massive stupidity on my part. Had the internal and external Ethernet cables plugged in to the wrong ports. *le sigh*

Enjoy...

Just an FYI folks, but I'm in the middle of reinstalling the OS on the chatroom server. Should be back online before too long.

Because of the summer heat my beard was itchy as hell so I shaved it off. First time in 6ish years.

I was wondering why your LinkedIn profile status is "looking for a job" all of the sudden.  Haven't talked to you much lately, so I didn't get a chance to ask you what was up.

Sorry to hear that man.  Hope you find something soon.  I'm still looking myself (for a real job) so misery loves company, at least.

I haven't been around IRC much during the days lately since I seem to be spending to much time sleeping or watching downloaded TV shows. I'm pretty sure I babbled about it on the channel at some point.

Thanks for the sympathy, there's hardly anything being posted locally that I've seen.

I would choose both because they are both good for different situations, but since you didn't give me a both option I went with creamy. It's easier to spread.

Just like Xoli's legs.  :slap

A three, maybe four word Google search would likely turn up the answer. Sheesh...

Well, I was laid off again a couple weeks ago. Both times from large IT Consulting companies. First one was a top 5 Financial contract around this time last year, when they started cutting back on external contracts. Then after about 6 months of looking for wr0k, I got hired for a App support role for a Telco contract. Due to the downturn they decided to take all their onshore contracts and move them offshore. Unfortunately for me, I was still in my probation period so ...  :-(

Welcome Stranger.

Why is it called a RoadRunner when it fact, it rarely lives near roads?

As I understand it, they used to chase behind stage coaches eating bugs or other smalled critters that it's passage stirred up.

I want you to intellectually stimulate me ;). Welcome.

That's entrapment... You're not supposed to do that. ;-)

Welcome to the forum, buisysignal.

Help me out... FBI?

There are no girls on the Interwebs, so anyone claiming to be one is therefore an FBI agent looking for pr0nographers. Q.E.D.

I could be an FBI agent...

Wouldn't surprise me in the least

For some reason lately I've been getting "wow, it's so small" because of this thing.

Not usually what a guy wants to hear.  :w:

New rule for incoming geekchicks: tits or GTFO.

Let's see 'em.

Ah, right, I've heard of those.

Biz, don't you have a laptop that does that?

My Toshiba lappy has a media player app that uses a modified Linux install to play DVDs, etc without having to boot Doze.
