Yeah, software is really fucked up that way. You go to the store, pay money for it, but technically you're not actually buying anything but the right to use the software.

The funny part is that "they" can supposedly revoke the right to use the software at any time.

has anyone here actually read through a EULA completely before continuing an install?  it's like 25 pages of legal jargon, and i just wanna play my game......

I've skimmed some of them, and actually read some of the shorter ones. But for the most part I just click on through. It's mostly pointless anyway because you're considered to have agreed to the EULA once you break the seal on the software package in a lot of the agreements.
