It's quite simple, ivan.  Don't be such a dolt.

60 seconds in minute
60 minutes in a degree

3 degrees = 3 * 60 = 180 minutes
180 minutes * 3 = 540 seconds
Minus the first step because you can't count the zero'th degree
540 - 60 = 480 seconds
We're getting close.
Now, since we're not dealing with Kevin Bacon, you have to handicap the calculation with a factor of .125
480 - (480 * .125) gives us the final of 420 seconds of HURRRRRRRRRR

You may be questioning how we arrived at the handicap of .125 - to that, I say PAIC.  I'll not do your entire homework for you.
