Drill holes in the case for metal bolts and glue 2 inch long shag rug... preferably purple shag rug... to the top on the case... and paint a frankenstein face on the front of the case... It would look so cool... until you boot it up

I had one of those too. The stupid partition on it kept pissing me off. Finally I got it working and my cat broke it in half when he jumped onto my desk, landing on the USB drive which was sticking out of the front of my box

I'm rebuilding my current box with a 250gb external and Dual Boot OS... however I can't deside what the second OS will be... The first one is Windows XP which will take up 5gigs on my internal hard drive and will use the external for it's filesystem... That leaves a 5gig swap file and 68gigs for the other OS... I tryed Debian... but xfree86 won't start up I am thinking of trying Red Hat... Suggestions please

I'm to lazy to skin out Firefox so I just use default. I'd rather spend my time on something productive. Like completely reskining and redesigning my GUI... and then changing it back because it is too extensive and lags down my processor

Well I was considering writing an article about how Comcast was retarded (As usual )and cut my cable. Now I have to go next store to check my email. Luckily they are coming to fix it today. I think it might be an interesting article. I can get started on if anyone thinks it would be interesting.

I have always been looking for an opportunity like this. I do a lot of creative writing and like to write rants . I'd love to be able to write content for The Geekery. If there is an aplication process I'd love to send one in.

I have always thought of him being a guy. Probally due to the smoking pineapple lol (I remember when you changed to that avatar). Or it is because unless it is obvious they are a girl, I will usually assume the person is a guy. On forums that is... not is real life...

I am not anti-abortion. I'm anti-women leaving their babys in garbage cans, starving them to death and or abusing them. If a woman doesn't want a baby, then she shouldn't be forced to have one. Women are not forced to have a baby they don't want now, and the above stated crimes still happen, I dread thinking about how much worse they would become if all women were in fact forced to have babys they don't actually want. I agree with you xpgeek. This is basically the same position I have on abortion.

....and an incessant need to skip songs (I'm so guilty of that) will drain your battery faster. I see... I was thinking that was the reason... Thanks I'll just set-up some playlist with my favourite songs on them to avoid skipping tracks.

I was thinking that maybe the images of the battery meter were ordered wrong cause my battery level seems to just from 1/10 to 5/10 randomly.
Edit: I checked the firmware and the battery meter is fine...

I recently bought an iPod Video.... I got the 30gb because i am poor On the box it says it has a 14hour battery life. Yet after about 6 hours (or less) of use the battery meter displays aroung 5% battery life. During this time I would be using it I would be simply listening to music. Has anyone else noticed similar battery problems with the iPod Video? If so I would love to hear your opinion on the matter.
