Yeah there are a bunch of home made cases you can make. But the best case I ever saw was a commercial one that was basically just encasing the iPod in 1/8" plastic

I have a 30gb iPod Video... Don't use the video feature that much, and the 30gb is more then enougth for ALL the music I could pirate.
Just make sure you get a case, the plastic on the iPod scratches like sugar glass.

I used thermal paste when I put the first heatsink in. This new one I tried using the thermal compound that came with it, that might be part of the reason this one is working better... or I just misread the temp gauge for the last heatsink...
