hey, there's gonna be a new Hitchhiker's guide movie! i saw a trailer at the movies today. i hope it does the book justice..... i also hope for the entire trilogy in 5 parts to be made into movies.... that would kick some major ass. TAKE THAT NAPOLEON DYNAMITE!

It kinda sucks that the previews don't really preview anything. Just shows the earth and a book that doesnt look like the book described in the book. the words dont panic are nowhere to be seen.... so...

there could be 3 reasons for that....

1. The guide could simply be upside down
2. It could be the revised version from the 5th book of the trilogy in 5 parts
3. all of the above.

Isn't Douglas Adams dead? But yeah, I've never yet seen a movie based on a book that does the book justice, and I seriously doubt this will.

yeah considering.

i'm still pissed about no scouring of the shire.

and frodo and sam needed to explode into a million little bloody hobbit shards of flesh.

everything else (except the parts that weren't in the books!?!?!?!?! Weird Tingly Feeling is up with that) was good. the film (s) themselves are breathtaking.

yeah i think it's a pretty awe inspiring feat. i wish tom bombadill was in it tho. he because more facinating to me as i know more about the mythos of middle oith.

I was actually glad to see that they had omitted Bombadil.

Out of all of Tolkien's characters in all of his books, Tom Bombadil was the one that I had always thought didn't fit in.

Sam and Frodo's gay walkabout was okay, considering.

They didn't make Trillian black in the movie. What's up with that?
