Up until about a week ago we have been having perfect weather here in southern Wisconsin, for winter anyway.
There was no snow, only a couple muggy days, and a nice temperature around 50 to 60 degrees.
Within a week we have had about 2 inches of snow stay on the ground and the temperature dropped to below zero.
Stupid weather (at least the cold is the worst of it though...)

I was going to make a thread about this, actually.

It's the same story for us here in New Jersey. Up until a few days ago, we were able to walk around with a sweatshirt instead of a winter jacket. The other night it didn't get below 60. In the middle of January. At night. Here we are today and it's about 27 degrees outside right now, with a morning low of 19. How does that happen?

Also, it's snowing again in Madison. The snow I can handle. The cold, not so much.

We had another half inch of snow this morning. Oh, and my car heater seems to have frozen... ironic
Odd though that the defrost works ok. Also, I have a leak in my windshield and my windshield wipers don't work. I hope we don't get any sleet.

I know something worse than the cold... Wind. Nothing goes better with 10 degree temperatures than a nice wind

It's warmed up here. Yesterday and today we broke 20F. Prior to that we were hovering around 0-10F for the past week or so.

Snow's a bitch...someday I'm going to build a dome to cover a little house or an airstream trailor or something and the grass will be green inside and I'll stand there in my shorts and shades and laugh at all the chumps outside freezing their asses off.

I say if it's going to be cold, it may as well snow.

Besides, snow is a teacher's best friend. Well, unless you're a girl teacher...then diamonds trump snow. Of course.

If it rained diamonds windshields would be the least of our cares. Golf ball sized diamonds falling from the sky could be a problem though. Either kills you or makes you rich...

And snow is cold, that's just the way it is.
We had an amazing storm yesterday. You could lean against the wind. Pretty cool untill rooftiling started to fly, then I went inside.
