OK ALL YOU REALLY SMART GEEKS
answer me this one
"Why do motherboard manufacturers not place all the necessary drivers in a firmware chip resident on the board, so that   a clean install just needs to interrogate this chip to find them? And yes I did think about updates - correct me if I'm wrong, but firmware can be updated as required yes?
