50? Ok, I probably won't make that. My actual goal is 30 for this year. So make your goal and list your books here as you finish them.

By the way, every new post I make, I go to the last one and click "modify". Then I copy it all and paste it into my new post and make the updates. That way I don't have to redo the codes every time.

So right now I'm still working on the following: French Women Don't Get Fat by Mireille Guiliano and Whatever it Takes: How Professional Learning Communities Respond When Kids Don't Learn by DuFour, DuFour, Eaker, Karbanek and YAWWWN.

I don't really like either book. So this year can only get better!!

Hammerfall by C.J. Cherryh - rereading this now, the author does an excellent job writing about alien species and how difficult it would be to understand them. Although no aliens in this book that I can recall

I also knocked off a couple of graphic novels, not sure if I should include those or not.

I read it last month, Or maybe in November. It was pretty good bordering on excellent in places. He took a few liberties with the technology, and I didn't like that there was zero exploration (at least expressed in the book) about the effects of the actual attack.

Oh, and I finished 1634: The Galileo Affair (although I started it last year), and 1635: The Cannon Law so far.

Hammerfall by C.J. Cherryh - rereading this now, the author does an excellent job writing about alien species and how difficult it would be to understand them. Although no aliens in this book that I can recall
Hammer of God by Karen Miller - the last of a series from a pretty new author, she depends on deus ex machina a little too much to close her plots but the others were rather good

I decided to put graphic novels/manga in their own list

Deathnote volumes 4 and 5 by Tsugumi Ohba - a quite good manga about a boy who finds a notebook that he can write names into then the person dies, he starts using it to kill criminals and things go from there
Ultimate Power by Michael Bendis - a decent marvel ultimates universe book
Conan Volume 6: Hand of Nergal by several writers - a pretty faithful rendering of the original tales in comic book form, unfortunately they switched authors and artist so we'll see how it goes.

Lies My Teacher Told Me: Everything Your American History Textbook Got Wrong by James Loewen - I realized my list was a little fantasy intensive so I decided to pick up and re-read this great book. I very highly recommend it.
