Title: Google Wave
Post by: Chaulis on November 18, 2009, 01:23:50 AM
I have 15 invites (read nominations) left for Google wave, PM me if you want one.

Oh, and those that have it, what do you think?

15?  They only gave me 8!  Weird Tingly Feeling?

I'm disappointed that it's not integrated with gmail.  That's about the only input I have so far.

See if I could figure out what to do with it, I'd be happy. So far I've been using it to collaborate on assignments with my professor which has been nice, but I feel like I've been using a sledge hammer on a nail.

Have you checked out "with:public" filter?

Google Wave is pretty laggy, which is really annoying. I haven't found anything very useful to do with it yet, but I'm lazy and uncreative.

I can see a lot of potential for someone who knows what they're doing.

It's funny that you mention that. When I first started reviewing tutorials, I thought it was something like a glorified forum - and to a certain extent I'm correct. To my knowledge there isn't a forum solution out there right now that has the same feature set, so Google is doing a good job implementing all of these new features into one application.
