Just started re-running this show so I thought I'd bring it up. Japanese live action drama series based on a true story about an otaku who finds love via a chance occurrence and the help of a 2chan thread. Very good stuff. Here's the wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Densha_Otoko_(drama)) for those who exhibit further curiosity.

Where is it re-running?

I have no idea what an Otaku is but

There's a TV station in the LA area that runs JDramas with subtitles. Sometimes I watch, if the series grabs me early on.
Your hard drive, however, does me absolutely no good.

Channel 18? Ever since I put up the HD antenna, Ping Ping has been watching all these asian dramas every night with the sound way up. I think I'm actually going to miss coming home and hearing a bunch of people screaming in Vietnamese\Chinese\Japanese three blocks prior to actually reaching the door.

Torrents are good, or I'm pretty sure that there are still some places that are streaming it in high quality somewhere out there in the endless pool of internet.

That's the one. Back in the day they'd broadcast a JDrama series with English subtitles. Some were so-so, some were top-notch, and some were a lot of fun. I really miss my weekly Japanese infusion.
