Thanks all...   I think I'll get an Athlon XP processor system, definitely will avoid Celeron based systems...

What's the deal with Intel Celerons?  Are they worthless in power for use in todays systems or more importantly for servers or webservers?   Or are they best used by little old ladies who do nothing but surf with AOL and write MS Word letters?

The manned Moon landings pumped an incredible amount of industry cash into companies and the common blue collar as well as white collar workers pocket.

While the price tag makes you do a double take, if you put it into terms of what the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo missions combined cost the nation, and with inflation I wouldn't be surprised if its all relative.

This is a great boost in the arm for the economy, one which Bush was left in his lap from Mr. Bill the Intern slob, too busy riding the wave of a self perpertuating (and self destructing) economy which was falling apart just as it was turned over to Bush who has done a monumental feat in getting it going again... the idea of a new manned mission to the Moon and to help create the needed jump-point to make a Mars Mission even conceivable is a great idea and will help not only put money into small agressive firms, but into the little guys pocket.   It will help rebuild national pride and self worth in the country again and give science and education a big shot in the arm to help excite kids with space exploration once again.

I've never seen an xray scanner do any damage to any of my electronics... what I would more worried about is if you are carrying a diskette in your pocket and you get scanned with one of those handheld wands they use, they scan for metal and I would have to think they are generating some form of magnetic field to do so, that's where you'd most likely lose data.

How is it spam, I just mentioned the site, I didn't directly point to my specific stuff for sale.   You have the URL for your site in your Profile, so does that mean everytime you post, your posting about your own website.... sheez, lighten up dude!

Hey anybody checked this out?   Its an ebay for geek-gamers only, and its actually pretty cool.   Just opened but it looks like its got a lotta potential.

I sold two things this week, so people are buying :-)
