It's a great show, Im glad I gave it a chance. I love Nathan Fillion and I'm glad he's finally got a show that's doing decently. You also watch Weeds as well? What do you think of the current, and past couple seasons? When it first started it was great, but I hate to say IMO it's gotten to the point of ridiculous and crossed over into unbelievable. I almost stopped watching because of that.... but strangely enough, that's also what's keeping me coming back.

You forgot the special sauce! hah But yes, fried deliciousness ;)

SOOOO guys.... I gained 0.6 lbs :[  It -could- have been the hot dog covered with cheese, bacon, mayo and mushrooms I ate on Sunday..... OR the brownie cake (chocolate choc chip brownies with peanut butter icing in betwen) that followed the hot dog... OR the pumpkin roll that followed that.... But, back on track as of yesterday! And I've now set myself a date by which I want to be at my target weight and be decently toned: November 5th. I just found out that I'll be leaving for Jamaica that day so I now have motivation, no excuses! *grumbles*No more hot dogs and brownies.... that's 17lbs in roughly 6 weeks whichs equals almost 3lbs a week. Hopefully not an unreasonable goal.

I used to watch very little TV... and then I started dating my fiance, who is a TV connoisseur. Needless to say I'm now forced to watch all sorts of television. Unfortunately, he tends to have the taste of a middle aged housewife leaving me to suffer through shows such as Grey's Anatomy, House or Cougar Town (okay, I actually like this show but would never admit to him).

Shows I -actually- enjoy:

Bobs Burgers
Doctor Who
Archer
Workaholics
Castle
Adventure Time
Regular Show
American Dad
Big Bang Theory
Walking Dead
Being Human
Futurama
The Guild
Battlestar Galactica
Firefly
How I Met Your Mother
Top Gear
The Inbetweeners
Breaking Bad
Weeds

This is challening! There are so many books and authors that I adore.... If I had to pick off of the very top of my list I'd have to say:

*The Sleeping Beauty Trilogy by A. N. Roquelaure (a.k.a. Anne Rice)

*Just about any book by Stephen King

*Philosphy in the Bedroom by the Marquis de Sade

This thread has made me realize how much less I read now, compared to how much I used to read before I was.... well, a 'real' adult. :[

Love it. It's more motivating because I'm not just working out, but playing a game at the same time. The downside is that the sensor doesn't always work well, but what ever.

That's why I like DDR :)  Is that for the Ps3 Move then? If so, I don't have the move so I'd have to take a Zumba class at the gym.... not sure if it would be as enjoyable that way.

Ugh, all this KFC talk.... now I really want a Double Down sandwich O_O

Wow, that's impressive! I didn't have the willpower to make all those changes at once... had to gradually ease myself into things xD I bet you'll notice results almost instantly just based off of the fact that you aren't drinking soda any more. I as well gave it up, and about the only thing I drink now is water. I have discovered that giving up soda and switching to water is much more barable with those water flavor packets they have now. Still drinking something sweet, but with no calories.

I as well refuse to give up my occaisonal beer/liquor, which isn't exactly a bad thing. The more you deny yourself something the more you seem to crave it. To combat these cravings, I treat myself to something "bad" on the weekends and allow myself to drink- within reason of course :P

Do you like Zumba? I've heard that it's a great workout but never tried it myself.

I pretty much have to do the whole mini-meals-all-day deal due to extremely low blood sugar issues. And I do cardio a few times a week, normally things like hiking, DDR or Pilates. About 2 weeks ago I even started running! That lasted about 3 days though before I quit because I hated it with a passion. Also, cleaning up after/waiting on the boytoy constantly keeps me pretty active -__-

Wow, grats all you weight losers! :)   This may be the motivation I need to lose these last 17lbs I want to.... any tips? I mean, besides the obvious ;)

Current: 137
Goal: 120

I had no trouble losing in the past. After high school I dropped a ton of weight and sat at about 110 for awhile, but was not happy. I prefer having curves. Got up to a good 120 lbs where I remained for years. Then I lost my job. No job + boredom = 30 lbs gained -__-  Lost 15 of those so far and this is where I'm at now. I already know all the basics of weight loss.... eat right, exercise, blah blah blah... the reason I ask for tips is because I'm not losing weight as easily or quickly as I was before. And honestly, it's just getting frustrating. I mean, I do have chronic munchies combined with this rare disease where I -have- to follow dinner up with dessert.... but again, I'm not doing anything differently then I was before. My fiancé loves to tell me it's because I'm old now *rolls eyes* I think he's secretly sabotaging me out of spite because I don't help him lose weight....

Me too. Also smitten with Zooey Deschanel ;) And you know, I thought that movie was going to be horrid but it wasn't so bad.

Oh, well now that's a completely different ballgame. Poking children is much more satisfying by far in person vs Facebook.

Haha... Damn, where is a canon where you need one?! It's not even that I don't care for children. Don't get me wrong, I do have tolerance for them... about 2 minutes worth -__-  What actually aggrivated me the most about the situation was the whole "social interaction" IRL part. I mean, haven't they heard of Facebook?? :P

The topic of my pissed off rant today is babies. For the past half hour, Ive had kids and a screaming newborn all up in my shiz at work. You may be wondering, "Do you work at a daycare?" Nope, in an office. Or maybe, "Is it bring your kid to work day?" Well no, no it isn't. Just a coworker who recently had a baby who thought it would be good fun to drag it, and her schmillion other kids, in for a visit. First of all, no one cares. Congratulations, you managed to push yet another 9 lb helpless, crying, vomitting, pooping machine out of your vagina that you are now obligated to take care of for the next 18 years. The lack of me giving a sh*t, and assumption that I did, isn't what bothered me. Acting like you care when you don't, well that's life. It was the fact that while this coworker was showing off her bundle of fkn joy, she let the other kids just wander off to do whatever they pleased. Running up and down the aisles, yelling, *insert more grumpy-old-man-complaining-about-kids-on-the-yard comments* Is it bad that I sincerely had to hold back the the urge to stick my foot out of my cubicle as they were running by? -__-

Super is awesome since it asks "What kind of nutjob would try being a superhero and what would happen if they did?" and then shows you the visceral result of it. VISCERAL

Also: I've never really been that attracted to Ellen Page before and now I am.

Visceral it certainly was, and the aspect I disliked the most. The friends I had watched it with and I just sat there in awe, depressed and in silence for about 20 minutes after it was over haha None of us were expecting that movie to be so depressing... I did however love the straight-up gore and violence.

I wish I could say the same about Rainn Wilson :P  While I thought the [spoilers] was hot, nothing in this world could make me attracted to him.
