Not that I am aware of.  There was one in the works a few years ago, but Card vetoed every script proposed for it and whatever studio was doing it eventually pulled financing.  If I recall correctly, the director for the project was Wolfgang Petersen, and he was waffling on it as well and has since moved on to other projects (like "Troy").

Unless there is a new one being proposed.  I'll believe that when I see it.  Orson Scott Card is not very keen about it being made.

The Sci-Fi Overdrive interview broadcast this morning gave us a little more info on the status of the Ender`s Game film project:

-OSC`s Draft of the script is finished, and would clock in around 2 hours and 15-20 minutes. Peter is in this draft, but in a very minor role. The events in Battle School are condensed into one year`s time. The Adults are keeping watch on both Ender and Bean, trying to decide which of them will be the One.

-Another writer is now being pursued to work on a tightening-up re-write based on OSC's script. This is an expected normal procedure, and does not reflect on the quality of OSC`s script, which the producers are reportadly very happy with, and find to pack an emotional whallop.

-If a finalized draft is ready by the time Wolfgang Petersen is wrapping up Troy/Trojan War, then hopefully that`s when things will start going ahead full force.
This isn't by any means conclusive proof. But it's enough to make you wonder.

I remember hearing that they were putting events from ender's shadow in along with the ender's game storyline.
they're skipping the entire demosthenes and locke subplot too :cry: , this movie isn't looking as good anymore.
lastly, casting for ender...they have two kids in mind...the kid who played anakin skywalker in star wars episode one, or Haley joel osmond. May god have mercy on us all if that happens...

Haley Joel OSMENT is the kid who played Anakin Skywalker in Episode 1.
