HELP with DOS game! Quite urgent ;)

Hello there.
I know this might sound silly, but if theres anyone that could help me, id aprecciate that ;)
Theres this game that i played when i was like 12-ish years old, and now i stumbled upon it again(after 8 years), but my windows 7 is not compatible to this particular game. So i followed the instructions to how to install the dos box (wich was sucessful) but when i was tryng to get the actual game to start, i couldnt. Is it impossible, or did I so something wrong?
I know this topic its very dull, but the game is quite fun xD
