If it weren't for this smart ass of mine I'd have loads of friends, a great job and a stylish rocket scooter. Whew! What a relief I don't have to fuss with all of that! 6

New Geeks on the Block / Re: The names Tato.....short for Potato.« on: October 17, 2011, 05:26:19 PM »Oh that was back in 1994-1995. Things are much better now, thank you. I'm really pleased to hear things are better for you now I hate to see people suffer in any way, shape, or form. Ok rad, I'm stoked you guys are all smart asses. To me that's like one of the 10 Geek Commandments haha. Smart assiness is pretty vital to my existence. 9
New Geeks on the Block / Re: The names Tato.....short for Potato.« on: October 17, 2011, 05:23:36 PM »Oh, sorry, I read Tato as Tattoo. Haha I kinda thought that's what you meant. I don't think Herve and myself have much in common though. He was very small, I'm fairly large. He looks fantastic in a tuxedo, I look ok in my overweight Scotsman-meets-Viking body and so on. You can call me Tato, Potato, Tate, Tater or Taylor 10
New Geeks on the Block / Re: The names Tato.....short for Potato.« on: October 17, 2011, 02:30:51 PM »Can I call you Herve for short? Herve? Hmm I don't think I look like a Herve. I look more like an Olaf or possibly a Ragnar. 11
New Geeks on the Block / Re: The names Tato.....short for Potato.« on: October 17, 2011, 02:25:37 PM »It was really the only good thing about being stationed in that area back then. I'm really sorry to hear that Well at least things are better for you now, right? I hope they are. I'm a born smart ass and I was just kidding about all that. I'm sorry that was a bad time in your life 12
New Geeks on the Block / Re: The names Tato.....short for Potato.« on: October 16, 2011, 11:50:26 PM »Holy crap, I haven't had good pho since I was stationed in Newport News, VA. There was a strip of Vietnamese restaurants down by the shipyard entrance downtown where my ship was moored. We called it the Ho Chi Minh trail. I used to eat there at least twice a day, every day, for six months or so (when we moved across the bay to Norfolk naval base). You seem to have some real emotional issues tied into noodle soup my friend. Maybe it's time to put down the chop sticks? Only kidding! Yeah, I know the feeling man. I spent some time in Thailand and the first thing I did when I landed was head to In and Out. I tried "American" food over there but it just didn't cut it 13

In fact I'm Ivans long lost defective clone. The subtle screw ups in the cloning process explains my passion for Smurf/Highlander crossovers rather than any boner-filled A-Team stories. Speaking of the A-Team, that show was/is extraordinarily homoerotic in general. I mean, all those big strong men in that oh-so-private van. Makes all kinds of sense Aaaaanyhooch.....Hello Min! 14

Yeah! Boulangerie Pierre is right by my house. I've been there twice but both times I just bought a few baguettes. Everything they have there looks so good though. I'll make sure to try their Banh Mi I haven't had anything from Banh Mi Cho Cu or Au Cour de Paris but I'll try both for sure.
So, Where do you go for Pho? (I think this follow up question is an obvious choice haha) 15
New Geeks on the Block / Re: The names Tato.....short for Potato.« on: October 16, 2011, 05:15:20 PM »Where do you go for the best banh mi? Haha that's a great question! Hmm I guess I'd have to say Bahn Mi Che Cali. I know alot of people hate that place but I really dig it. Their meatballs taste like awesome. 16

Hello everyone,
My name is Taylor, but myself calls me Tato. I'm from Orange County, CA and I'm hoping to meet some like minded people so we can share in some good/geeky conversation. Please feel free to ask me any questions, make fun of my name or send me any Smurf/Highlander crossover fanfic you might be working on. THANKS!
