Well, for christmas my dad was supposed to get me a new motherboard, but I never picked one out.
The thing is, I bought a Geforce 2 MX400... and my motherboard was crapping out because it couldn't handle it and the Soundblaster Live X-Gamer I had (IRQ conflicts)... I just need a motherboard, that won't give the Geforce 2 shit, and has good onboard sound (so i dont need the soundblaster) I might be able to pick up a shitty soundcard.. but some things are important to me (being able to record "what-you-hear" sound, playing mp3s, being able to record through two things at once) Also, pentium...athlon, I really don't care. I want it fast, and I want a lot of RAM. Basically, a good goal for this motherboard would be to play Warcraft 3 with little lag. 7

I have something that alot of people have, and i dont know how to fix it.
See, if i hold out all of my fingers, and try to close my pinky (just my pinky), the ring finger moves down with it, and a little bit of the middle finger. Now, if i try to put my ring finger or any other finger down, it works. Plus, if i clench my fist, and try to OPEN my pinky, it works. But it doesn't work with my ring finger! This happens on both hands, and I want to know the explanation for why this is happening. Can I do excercises to stop it? Can i do anything to stop it? I think it would make me play guitar alot better and write better and many things... cause i know people who can and cant do this. 9

they are really high quality with a medium-sized picture frame. anyone know any software or methods i can use to chop these down to a meg or two? 10

I was trying to make it so if i clicked on a .mov file in explorer it would open it in quicktime. Quicktime would not let me do this manually. I did this successfully. However, whenever a .mov file is being streamed in internet explorer, it shows up as the 'open picture' image, and does not play. Anyone have any ideas on what key in the registry needs what to do this ?
I've tried reinstalling, I've tried resetting the mime types and restarting. No avail. 13

Don't go into the topic, the scroll bar hurts the eyes. But, with some investegation of mine... IE Either has a table limit, or PHPBB puts a limit on the cascading, because i noticed some of the first posts were dissappearing.
But, Even though... I noticed some of the page boarders and links were flaking in and out and everything was looking choppy. This led me to believe that we accomplished our task of breaking the internet! 23
