Hi all.

Hi all.

I'm not very good at introductions, so I'll keep this short.

I enjoy horror, sci-fi, gaming, heavy metal and have recently started learning how to fix computers (using my old laptop as an experiment).

I did not mean to type "couch forts", but for some reason "comp-uters" is auto-changed to "couch forts" if I don't put the hyphen in. Can anyone tell me why that is?

Yes, you did, but maybe Jadzia doesn't know what a forum filter is.

Jadzia, most forum software allow certain words to be blocked or changed by things called "filters". Normally, filters are used to filter out obscenities or slurs. However, here at TEH GHEEKERY OMFGLOL, filters are sometimes used to alter perfectly ordinary words for the purposes of achieving a humorous effect, in the hopes of eliciting an occasional "LOL", "*snerk*", or even "ha ha".
