The dude is probably just as qualified to push paper just as any naturally born bureaucrat.  The fact that NJ has someone in charge of "homeland security" is what I'm apalled at.

Wasn't the guy Israeli? Or am I thinking of someone else? 'Cause I would think if you're appointing a non-citizen to a post of national or state security, you really can't find anyone more qualified than an Israeli, including most Americans.

All 50 states have homeland security appointees now. Part of the national intelligence and security networking.
