I saw on the news last night that Richmond got reamed by tropical storm Gaston.

Detta, any reports for us?  Saw some nasty flooding on the news and heard about a lot of property damage.

Yeah, $15 million in damage just in the city.  I posted my report on HN.  It was pretty bad.  I couldn't get home, all the major roads were flooded and closed by the time I got out of work.  

A friend of a friend was driving over a bridge and it collapsed from under him.  His car floated away and they had to swim to safety.

My house held up ok.  It didn't float down the hill.  Poor Bill was out in it for the entire 10 hours and 14 inches that it rained.  But he's ok too.
