Red Eye
« on: July 03, 2006, 05:40:40 PM »

Rented and watched Red Eye over the weekend.

The movie was reasonably well-acted, and pretty fast-paced and suspenseful... but the writing was pretty dumb and the plot was filled with holes.... well, holes big enough to drive a 747 through.

However, Rachel McAdams is fricking hot.  'Nuff said.

I really enjoy watching Cillian Murphy perform. He's a very talented actor and I enjoyed him in this movie.

I wasnt too happy with Red Eye. It could have been much better than it was. And yes, there were plot holes, which bothered me a fair bit.

Also, Rachel McAdams is Canadian. Your welcome from Canada.

Your (sic) welcome from Canada.

You know that if you take credit on behalf of Canada for our exports, it implies that we have to take responsibility for our less than stellar contributions to the world, and I'm not ready for that kind of pressure.

I bet the plot holes were going to be filled with snakes in the original script.

Yeah, I was rather expecting to see a cobra or a boa constrictor at several points.

As an overall, not a terrible movie, but I'm glad I rented it rather than dumped the chump change for it at the box office.  As an overall, I give it 2.5 Banned N00b's out of 5.

Celine Dion, for example.

Celine Dion, for example.

That was exactly my thought when I wrote that post.

Let's not leave Alanis or Tom Green out of it.   :-D

Tom Green has an internet show now. It's kind of sad.
