Cloverfield
« on: July 15, 2007, 10:37:54 PM »

I'm just going to jump right into this- So I went to see Transformers today (by the way, it was awesome if you didn't see it yet) and I saw the best preview ever. I am sure that if you saw Transformers, you know just what I am talking about. Being that it simply gave away a name and a release date, you have no idea what the title is. I get home, pumped up about this preview as much as I am about Transformers. I go online and unsurprisingly, I forgot the release date and the name of the producer (who is JJ Abrams). All I have in my mind is... a 4 word piece of dialog I remember from the preview.. "he's your main dude". I then search up "movie preview main dude", surprisingly, I find what I am looking for. The code name for the film is "Cloverfield" and will be released on 1-18-08.

All I have to say is that Paramount has successful booked at least one person to come see their movie. Yeah, I have no idea what it is about but it has something that is big and destructive in it so bring it.

Does anyone think this looks anything but awesome?

a lot of people thought the whole ethan haas thing was related to this but JJ Abrams has said officially that the two aren't related.
