well thats nice... you seem to not get the fact... that I personally took offense to the fact that Detta scolded me for agreeing to do something for the forum... If anyone deserves to be even remotely punished then it should be both me and Detta... He decided to provoke me... and I can't help when I am provoked in a manner like that I am going to respond... The only way i will use proper grammar on this forum is if Detta admits that he was in the wrong for scolding me for agreeing to obey the rules!

You're wrong for storming into a place where you should consider yourself to be a guest and demanding to be treated in some fashion that suits you. We owe you nothing. If you're going to become an active member of this forum, we'll expect you to follow the rules set forth by the regular members of the forum. For it is these regular members who give the forum its flavor. If you read around before you signed up for a screen name and you decided that this was a place that you'd like to be a part of, then clearly there was something about the flavor offered by the regulars here. If, however, you failed to bother to even read a few of the threads before registering, then you made your first mistake before you even hit the register button.

Why Detta, who is female by the way, thinks you should do something shouldn't matter in the least. I think you should use proper English online because it would make your third-grade teacher proud. Demosthenes thinks you should use proper English online because he likes Jules from Pulp Fiction.

As I said several times before, it's the Internet. Don't take it personally.

Your 24 hour ban has started. Please take that time to think about how you want to be treated when you return - if you return. If you don't return, take with you the knowledge that any forum that is worth joining will have standards and they'll expect you to adhere to those standards.

I take my new role as moderator here seriously. When I don't have the power to push the button, I am quick to type "*click*" because someone gets under my skin. However, when part of my responsibility as a member of this forum is to maintain or restore the integrity, flavor and style that is acceptable, I take on that role with some reverence for those whom I'm charged to protect. I also must consider the growth and future of the site.

That's exactly what I'm saying. I don't want to read your posts, because its way too much effort. An occasional slip, I'm fine with. Even more than an occasional slip, but if it takes actual EFFORT...I don't have that kind of time. I work 2 jobs (neither of which allow me to fart around on the internet), devote time to community service and am trying to plan a wedding. I just don't have this kind of time. If anyone else does...I'm happy for you if you can communicate with them.

She didn't have and still doesn't have anything to apologize for. For your information, she wasn't scolding. She was asking a question and offering advice for here and in any other part of your life. If this place isn't your cup of tea fine. Just don't expect anyone here to change it just to suit you.

With your attitude I think that the Army (or whatever branch of service will have you) might do you some good. When you start your whining, bitching, and moaning about how people don't treat you right you'll be in for a rude awakening. I'm sure the military will change the way they do things just to make you happy.
