Instructions:

1) Take two (or more) pictures of yourself without moving the camera. Set its timer and put it in a place it won't be disturbed.

2) Open your completely legitimate and legal copy of Photoshop.

3) Open both pictures in Photoshop and drag one into the other so that the first photo is the background and the second is layer 1.

4) Erase around the edges of whichever you prefer.

Results:



It takes a couple of minutes, so if you have a digital camera and Photoshop (or gimp, or whatever), get going!

It's not two images of myself in this, but some of you may remember this composite photo I made a couple of years ago out of two separate shots of my wife and I in Doune Castle in Scotland.

I tried this yesterday using The Gimp, but I couldn't get the layers to work right.  I actually wish I had a perfectly 100% legal copy of photoshop right now.

How about a 15 minute student film where I'm the only actor, playing multiple characters on-screen at the same time?  :p

Well, nevermind...it's not finished yet. I only have a 3 minute trailer (which isn't exactly web-friendly right now). And to think this thing was due back in May as a final project for an Italian media class.

I promised my professor I'd finish it this summer...   :(

EDIT: Encoded the trailer real quick, Windows Media format and ~15MB. It obviously needs a lot of work, so I honestly don't care about any criticism, since it's going to be completely different anyway.  :roll:  Not many shots with me on screen multiple times in this, but eh you get the idea and I think this basically goes along with the topic of the thread.   :)
