I apologize for cutting into the middle of nowhere and being unable to follow this within-thread conversation, but I'm here to answer the question asked in the first post.
Californication! With David Duchovny? I'm borderline in love with him...despite both his age and the fact that I'm a lesbian. I've seen clips and such on YouTube, but I don't own Showtime on my television set. But if I did? I'd watch it. I'd watch it all the time.
My current [still-running] television obsession is Nip/Tuck. Apparently the sixth [sixth, right?] season is going to start playing on FX in early January. It's a great program, for sure. It's not just another doctor show. First of all, it's about plastic surgeons. Second, it's somewhat eerie a lot of the time...has a spooky feel to it, in my opinion.
If you have access to a really great video rental store that has just about everything in stock? I highly suggest that you rent a few seasons of The X-Files...just because it's that great.
The Office is great, too...just thought I'd add that.
I've been enjoying the hell out of Californication, but then I really like sarcasm and female nudity.
