Lols.

The last gaming system I owned was a Playstation 1.  I got it when Playstation 3 came out.

I am so lame like that.  Never had the newest thing.  Oh wait, I think I had an Atari when it first came out.  I was the Pole Position master.

For netflix, I just got the $80 Roku.  I love it.

I am no doing so hot on my weight loss goal.  I gained more weight.  Enrique isn't at his goal yet but I'll be doing those dishes.  I am trying to get into a good gym routine though and eventually will be running and doing yoga.  It's hard to get into a routine with two wildcard children.

That's not a good excuse.

Have you spent any time in the classroom besides subbing?  I don't think they should let people have a career in Teacher Leadership if they've never actually been a teacher.

Oh.  Welcome.  I also like superheroes.  Especially Super Martian Robot Girl and Super Mister Superhero.

Yeah, sleep when the baby sleeps.  And never shower or eat.  Riiiiiight.

And you're right, it's waaay worse to put your head down and get woken up 5 minutes later than to never put your head down at all.

Did I know you were expecting a little one?  Congratulations, that's awesome!  I almost said, "Don't worry, it'll get better".  Haha!  It's really really hard, but totally worth it.

Remember...as soon as you have it down pat, the baby will totally change the routine.  So don't get comfortable.

Thanks.

The same things happen every day but some days I just handle really badly.  I guess hormones fluctuate and determine if I'm a mess or if I laugh it off.  I would like to sleep again someday though.  Someday.

I kick him sometimes in the night to get him up.  But the kid usually won't go back to sleep unless I feed him.  He won't take the bottle.  So it's usually not much use to wake up the hub.  And if he takes a sick day, he'll have to do the work on the weekend anyway so it's the same.

But anyway.....he took a 45 minute nap and I had fun tub time with the girl.  Just what I needed to calm the heck down.

And then they say "Tomorrow's a new day".  But it's not.  It's the same fucking day over and over again.

Imagine working from 6am till 9:30pm (often later) with no breaks.  And your number one fan at your job screams at you all day.

I am having a....bad day.  And I'm not handling it well.

When you have a baby and are up all night...night after night, it seems endless.  People tell you "It will pass."  "This phase will be over before you know it"  "6 months from now, you'll be sleeping at night".

Those people are BIG FAT FUCKING LIARS!!!!

Finished the Colorado Kid.  What a waste of time.

Hey!  We've been working on this mystery for 25 years now.  Let me lay it all out for you piece by piece so that at the end, we can say we still don't know what happened.

Oooh, thanks for starting it!  I made my goal of 15 last year.     :-D

This year, another 15.  I don't know what I'm currently reading because I haven't been reading it.  I think it's The Colorado Kid by Stephen King.

Excellent!!

I have something to post here as well.

Enrique and I have a bet.  I have to lose 7.8 and he has to lose 10.  If I get there first, he has to bring home or make dinner for a week.  If he gets there first, I have to make dinner as usual and I also have to do the dishes for a week.  This is VERY motivating for me.  He may have an advantage because he really has 15 pounds to lose.   But he's too busy working to work out.  I can take the kids to the gym now so that's what I hope I'll be doing.

So here we go!

Starting weight:  132.8
Goal:  125

I don't get it.

ANY of it.

You'll just have to read a Stephen King novel if you want to get it.  Don't worry, it's a short one.
