I got the Book of the Subgenius, Illuminatus!, a pile of puppets (?), a lot of candy and a little beer fridge.

I finally decided to order my Nintendo Ds Lite online, since the stores went out of stock before I could even get to them.

For those looking, www.nowinstock.net checks some of the online retailers for when it is available, just go to the Ds Lite section. (They have a few others, like the Wii)

No kidding. Spoiled.

As for me, my parents gave me this and this. I also got a talking Mr. Hankey from my brother in law. I got a camera bag for the video cam. That's about it, besides the lame reciprocity candy and cookie gifts. Oh and I got a 512Mb SD card.

Ian on the other hand got tons of clothes, some CDs, some leapfrog stuff, a cool race car thingy, a turtle riding pooh with a rattle remote, and some stuffed animals.

When your child is one and you go to put away all the clothes he gets for his first birthday, you'll be amazed at how many outfits were either never worn, or worn once and never again.

Then, when your child turns two...

EDIT: Also, do you want my 256 SD card as a backup? I got a 1GB one for Christmas and no longer need the smaller one. If pb doesn't want it, does anyone else?

Not much this year, more practical then anything else. Picked up a lovely leather office chair, something I was in dire need of.

Also received and already finished 'Idlewild' by Nick Sagan. An excellent book, very good read. I couldn't put the thing down.
