I keep updating my original post with the what I'm working on, I'm up to 30 when my goal is 60 but I've only got 5 non-fiction so I need to step up that part.

that is awesome, when lawyers work out for you it is great, sucks to be in a position where you need one however.
And congrats on your truck find in the other thread. 80

Anarchy / Re: Breakfast Sandwich« on: March 24, 2010, 06:58:47 AM »
Sip N Dip, local "chain" (4 stores) that uses slices of american cheese and 4-5 slices of good sandwich ham on their breakfast sandwiches. Pretty good bagels too.
Otherwise it's Dunkin' Donuts, ham, egg and cheese on a wheat or multgrain bagel Of course I only buy one once every 3 months or so. 84

I have a bifid uvula so have always had a touch of sleep apnea which got worse when I was overweight. Like Biz losing the weight helped.

Haven't we had a discussion about this before? Maybe on another forum.
If I remember correctly I'm pretty firmly on the EN end of things, the last two I'm more in the middle of, either FJ or TJ I think. 87
Anarchy / Re: Forum Issues« on: February 04, 2010, 11:17:19 AM »
Yesterday it was slow to load and slow to respond opening threads.
Today it's just a little slow to load but once up works fine. 88
Anarchy / Re: Weight Training« on: January 28, 2010, 08:16:31 AM »
I was looking at those online and in the local store but I just can't picture myself running along the road in them. I hit branches/cans/rocks all the time along the darker stretches, plus this time of year salt and sand in them would just plain suck. I can kind of see them for running on grass.
Hope your foot heals fine and you can get back out there. 89

Hardware, Software, and Other Imperialist Crap / Re: Windows Server 2003 and Dual NICs« on: January 25, 2010, 01:58:03 PM »Tried that on the old server. It isn't hardware. I've 100% eliminated hardware as the issue by deploying an entirely new server, with different NICs, different network cables, different switch, everything. You're right that is a puzzle, a really annoying one I imagine. Have you eliminated everything upstream from the server? Wait you said it was a different switch.... how about a different IP address? 91
Hardware, Software, and Other Imperialist Crap / Re: Windows Server 2003 and Dual NICs« on: January 25, 2010, 12:53:34 PM »
Huh, maybe try flipping the NIC's in the box. If the bottom one still doesn't work in the top slot than it's hardware, if not some sort of setting. Or try other slots entirely.
The other thing that comes to mind is to switch the inputs into each NIC (the patch cables in the back) and see if you get the same results. 92
Hardware, Software, and Other Imperialist Crap / Re: Windows Server 2003 and Dual NICs« on: January 25, 2010, 11:17:07 AM »
Is the bottom NIC enabled in Windows? or are the settings correct there?
That is about all I can contribute, and you probably already checked that but you didn't say so... 93

Anarchy / Re: Happy New Year!« on: January 01, 2010, 05:19:05 PM »
Made a nice meal for me and the missus, drank some good wine with the meal, watched a movie and finished a bottle of local sparkling wine as midnight hit.
Hope everyone here as a good 2010! 95
Sticky Stuff (no pun intended) / Re: 2010 Book Thread« on: January 01, 2010, 05:13:41 PM »
Seeing as I pulled off 50+ last year I'm aiming for 60, however I read an awful lot of Sci Fi and Fantasy so the goal is to have at least 20 of those books be something besides Sci Fi or Fantasy.

Anarchy / Re: 50 Books in 2009« on: December 31, 2009, 09:01:36 AM »
I cleared 50, I actually finished a couple more books that i didn't add and 3 more graphic novels over christmas.
I think my biggest brag is that I actually finished Finnegan's Wake last night, 628 long pages. It was a very interesting read but not easy. If no one else starts one I'll start a Books in 2010 thread, I still have the homebrewing books, a local history book and another Joyce novel. 98
Anarchy / Re: Migraines« on: December 04, 2009, 09:24:37 AM »
I get them maybe a couple of times a year at most, not completely debilitating but you really don't want to be anywhere near me when I have one. Only cure is a nap in a cool, colder the better, dark and quiet room for an hour or two. That usually takes enough off so that I can function when combined with some caffeine/aspirin.
Sinus stuff runs in the family, I can tell when a low pressure front is coming because I get a certain kind of headache. 99
