Title: My $300 Netflix Box

Recently, I had the bright idea to purchase an XBox seeing how I have not owned a Gaming Console in quite a long time.  Got the small HD (4 GIG) but ordered a 260 GIG HD off of Ebay because they wanted $180 at GameStop For it.

All that said, we bought some games, dumped some money into it, and now all we do is watch Netflix on it.  <sigh>

Has anyone else fallen into this same pattern?

The last gaming system I owned was a Playstation 1.  I got it when Playstation 3 came out.

I am so lame like that.  Never had the newest thing.  Oh wait, I think I had an Atari when it first came out.  I was the Pole Position master.

For netflix, I just got the $80 Roku.  I love it.

I have a PS3 I use to play Bioshock (waiting patiently for Infinite). I actually have Netflix (although it's a friend's account), but a rarely use it. Although that might have something to do with my schedule and the fact that I have every cable television channel available where I live.

The one thing that has me really hooked on Netflix is, NO COMMERCIALS!  But I do love shooter games.  I am horrible at them on the XBox.  I was playing MW3 the other night and ending games with 1/23 ... got pissed, went to MW2 on the PC and ended games with 23/3 scores.  I felt better about myself.  And yes, I camp!  I love seeing people rage about it.   :evil:

A couple of years ago my girlfriend bought me a 360 for my birthday and now all I do is play games on it. These things happen!
