okay, this one will surely test your patience and skill
pc1(host) was the first to be the host, Norton internet security was installed along with msn messenger etc... this was fine, msn and hotmail worked, a few months after, pc2(new host)was built, pc2 was made the host and a network card was fitted, noton internet security was installed along with msn messenger and the LAN seems to work perfectly.... or does it?
the problem occours when pc1(now the slave) tries to go onto messenger/ the hotmail site, for some reason it wont connect to that specific site, after un-installing NIS on pc1 to see if that was the problem, nothing changed, pc1 was still unable to connect to hotmail/MSN messenger, yet on pc2, msn and hotmail work perfectly, does anyone know whats going on?
