I thought it might be entertaining and enlightening to have a thread wherein people could explain why they smote someone.

It could be anonymous, like...

Or, it could be less so, like...
  -1: Lacerda, I can't believe you made a joke about octopus-testicles in that thread about my alcoholic sister's struggle with her over-sized genitalia and skimpy swim-attire.

Let's see...

I smited Evonus a handful of times (but not nearly as many as he thought I did) just for being a fucktard.
I think I might've smited a couple of the mods for refusing to ban Evonus.   :-D
I think I smited Vampire I think (just for being Vampire).
I think I might have smited 12 for losing his cool and swearing at me in the political forum (but I can't remember if I actually went through with the smiting).
Most recently, I smited Flipside for the "if you don't like it leave...go to france and pick up your white flag at the door" rant (I know you're better than this Flip).

Other than that, nothing jumps out at me.  I'm not a big smiter.
