  Man, I would LOVE to go on an expedition like this. Making first contact with a people who've never met any outsiders, having no common language, no cultural knowledge beforehand...

Not sure if you knew this but you have the right NOT to post in a particular thread. For instance, if you don't want to watch the movie on which this entire thread is based, you don't have to tell us. Your lack of a post will be proof enough that you have no interest in the subject.
