Demosthenes:. It's true, great part of the continent suffers from bandwidth limitations. Most big cities don't but I happen to live in the most isolated State, called Roraima which is almost completely covered by forest and savanna and it's mostly reachable by air or really hard boat travels by river. But I can't complain. Besides our bandwidth, our horrible public transportation system and the everlasting summer, Boa Vista is a good city.
I personally don't know much about Uruguay but I hope it's true.

Novice: I never thought of ranking but let's give a try: Silent Hill or The Longest Journey; Questionable Content; Oasis (band) Iron Man (song); the Simpsons; The Godfather - Part II.

ivan: Curiously enough I've never heard of this band or known that there have been Rio episodes of CSI Miami.

BizB: Hahahahahahha, nice one.
close, I actually ride a chariot pulled by trained jaguars.

Thanks though I'm much more excited about 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Hi... is this thing on?
*awkward silence*
tough crowd

Ok, I've looking at the screen for about 3 minutes trying to figure out what to say... no luck with that so far. So I think I'll just try the standard introduction: "Nice to meet you". Yup, that's all I could came up with. So here some quick facts about me:

1- I'm Brazilian, so as you probably noticed English is not my native language. If I say something that doesn't make sense, please feel free to point that out.
2- I'm stuck in dial-up isp land. So, except for Final Fantasy XI, I don't play online games. I don't usually watch funny videos on YouTube. I don't do video or voice chat. I'm prone to crab about my connection speed. I live in a rather isolated city and we were just connected by optic fiber (used to be satellite) a few months ago. So hopefully I'll get broadband in the near future.
3- I'm into video games, webcomics, rock music, rpg, tv series, films... you probably expected that since I just registered here.
4- I love instant messaging but I'm rather shy at first. I'm usually on windows live messenger or google talk. Send PM for contact info if interested
