Nope, sorry if I gave that impression. Technically he's not even the original Bobert. That one lived on a previous IRC server, that we abandoned for some reason or other.

In fact we were Bobert-less for a good long while before I got motivated enough to do something about it. It took me at least 2 hours of googling to find the source to recreate Bobert. After that it was pretty easy to rebuild him.
